Meet Lisa F. Kerwin, J.D., F.M.*

Lisa is a creative, solution-oriented thinker with a passion for empowering people. She comes from a long line of determined, independent women.  Her mother returned to University when Lisa was a teenager and her grandmother forged her own path and will celebrate her 102nd birthday in 2021. So it came as no surprise, that at a time in life when most people have settled into a comfortable rhythm, Lisa chose to pursue a recurring dream she had had all her life – the law.

Lisa attended law school at the University of Calgary while parenting three daughters and was called to the Bar in Alberta in 2007.  She practiced law in Calgary for nearly a decade, focusing exclusively on family, estate and elder law. When she was called to the BC Bar in 2016, Lisa continued to work in her chosen areas with the firm of Davis Avis Randall in Parksville.

As an accredited Family Mediator, Lisa works with her clients to find paths to resolution tailored to their circumstances. 

It is Lisa’s independent spirit, determination and love of the law that inspired her to establish LFK Law.
